The One Plus 6T McLaren edition is finally here!

Oneplus 6T Mclaren edition

After a couple of teasers and speculations, OnePlus has finally launched the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, which was possible by both brands partnering. This special McLaren edition is similar to the regular OnePlus 6T but a lot cooler and faster in terms of performance and charging. The OnePlus 6T McLaren editions' motto “SALUTE TO SPEED” is OnePlus's way of paying tribute to the Formula One team McLaren who have a history on the tracks.

An all New Design?

The OnePlus 6T McLaren edition is featuring the classic papaya orange color used by McLaren for it's F1 cars. The orange accent is precisely aligned along the lower edges of the phone that blends into the glass back perfectly, another cool thing about this special edition Smartphone is the carbon fiber used underneath its glass back which turns out to be the same material that McLaren has been using in its sports car.

What else is new?

Besides the cool look, coming along with OnePlus 6T's McLaren edition is the all new “Warp 30” charger which according to One Plus 's claim should be able to give you up to a day of battrey power in just under 30 minutes of charge. It was nice to see OnePlus taking such a huge step in terms of its own fast charging technology. But, if we are talking about someone advancing in technology, let’s not forget about the 40-watt VOOC supercharger that comes with the Mate 20 Pro and the Oppo R17 Pro which works slightly faster than the “Wrap 30.”
Everything else in the McLaren edition of the OnePlus 6T might just be the same but the additional 10GB RAM will surely come in handy for smoother multitasking.
