Apple MacBook Air 2020 Core i5 Reviews - Thinner & Faster Than Ever Before

Apple MacBook Air

It seems that Apple has made a victory in its race against the clock as it just introduced the most awaited laptop of 2020 namely MacBook Air 2020. This ultimate gadget comes up with some extreme features over the past decades to condemn all the false statements led by rumors. This newly-launched MacBook Air 2020 has made its way by addressing thousands of complaints we have had about Apple’s previously released affordable thin and light-weighted laptops. One of the most common issues with Apple’s previous laptops was the hardware powering that will stand nowhere in today’s scenario when compared to many other Windows laptops under the same bag of prices.

Because Apple endeavored to make the new MacBook Air as pocket-friendly as possible so that everyone can hands on it without breaking the bank. It’s clear that there would have been so many compromises, especially on processing power, hardware and storage. In addition to this, yearly updates do not make a big difference.

Although, there is hope in the darkest time as well. The MacBook Air 2020 i5 has taken a bigger step than ever before to succeed the MacBook Air 2019, with Apple’s final addition of new components associated with several updates to make a difference in performance. Also, there is little change with its minimum storage capacity as now it starts with 256GB rather than revolving around 128GB to scrap its performance. And figuring as a breakthrough, Apple is offering configuration with Quad-core processors and up to 16GB RAM for the very first time.

Though Apple didn’t sacrifice its light-weight and sleek design that is probably the most important reason why Apple is famous for. While there are many other thin laptops in the market as LG Gram (One among the thinnest laptops around the world), it’s still ready to make its way to the techies heart with its signature Apple’s compact design and hardware quality. And, with a few new components added to enhance the overall dimension of the new MacBook Air 2020, it’s the best laptop that you can carry on your back.

Now, if we talk about the pricing of this beast, Apple has really surprised the people by releasing its most awaited MacBook Air with Quad-core i5 processor at an opening price of less than 2019 model at US $999. Beyond it’s super affordable cost, the specifications and features are far better than the previous model operating on dual-core 10th-generation 1.1GHz Intel Core i3 processor with a boost of 3.2GHz, 256GB storage and 8GB LPDDR4 RAM. These specs of Apple MacBook Air 2019 are really poor in comparison to this model.

Design-wise there is nothing better than Apple’s butterfly design. Also a new supersonic keyboard ready to enchant you. With its best keyboard and ultimate design, the all-new Apple MacBook is perfect for both business and personal usage. If you’re a die hard Apple fan then you cannot resist your hands on this new gadget. However, if you’ve always been in love with Apple’s gadget, then there’s nothing to change your mind. Here’s features & specs with the most honest review of Apple MacBook Air 2020.

Price and Availability

In a lovely surprise, the new MacBook Air has launched at a new minimum price for its previously launched laptops.

The all-new MacBook Air features a dual-core 10th-generation Intel core i3 processor, 256GB storage minimum and 8GB RAM only for US $999. This is the most decent deal that you can avail right now.

Apple also introduced a high-end MacBook Air within the cost of US $1,299, and this too comes with the same specs excluding a highly powerful 512GB SSD storage to boost the performance along with quad-core CPU has been installed for the very first time in any Apple’s product.

Design and Outline

There is no other company that could design its product in such an outstanding and engaging way that Apple has been doing for more than a decade. Whether it’s smartphone or computing, Apple always introduces the best design with high-end specifications than any other company in the industry.

But, Apple didn’t play much with the all-new MacBook Air 2020, however, it comes up without radical redesigning. Though a few people may argue that Apple doesn't need to think about such a successful design.

So, the MacBook Air continues to it’s lightweight and sleek, thin design, as the official suggests with the dimensions of 11.97 x 8.36 x 0.63 inches (30.41 x 21.24 x 1.61cm). That's a slightly thicker build than the 2019 model, and MacBook Air 2020 also weighs up to 2.8 pounds (1.29kg) (compared to the 2.75 pounds (1.25kg) weight of the previous model in 2019).

Technology at the best, there is a touch ID fingerprint scanner to allow biometric login to MacOS and for other online payment including iTunes and Apple TV. While trying other MacBooks with the same feature, we found it too easy to set up a fingerprint scanner. And there is no other company that provides faster and secure scanners when it comes to detect the fingerprints.

The best part about this all-new MacBook Air 2020 comes in the air with its appealing keyboard. Along with MacBook users, Non-Apple users will find it amusing and easily adoptable.

Screenwise, nothing has changed since last year's model. It comes with a 13.3-inch display with LED backlighting, IPS technology and a native resolution of 2,560 x 1,600. That results in a pixel density of 227 pixels per inch for sharp image quality.

Battery Life

Officials claim that the new MacBook Air 2020 has a very good 11-hours of battery life, but in our daily usage and Apple’s benchmark testing, we found it’s performance below what the officials have said.

Although it’s far better than last year's model that was detailed to draw a life of 7-hour. There is some good news, as in standby, the energy impact is pretty minimal - overnight we saw barely any drop in battery life, although it's worth remembering this is still a new MacBook Air so will be functioning at peak performance.

If you always wanted to buy a MacBook, but stopped because of the poor budget, then you must go for it. And If you have been fed up working on butterfly keyboard, then it’s time to upgrade yourself with this latest design. Get set, go to hand on the latest MacBook Air 2020 without breaking your bank.
