Swiftkey’s New 3d Emojis Can Mimic Your Facial Expressions

Swiftkey is now looking to bring an update, which has now been embedded with a new animated feature of 3D emojis. As the Microsoft owned company supports artificial intelligence and introduced a new feature to replicate a person’s detailed expressions inside a 3D Animated Animal Emojis.

The Swiftkey is calling its latest feature as ‘puppets’, which was launched on 4th July 2019, and through this feature, every Swiftkey user can record themselves as Animated Emoticons including a cat, owl, panda, dinosaur or dog through the Swiftkey keyboard. This latest Swiftkey feature will include head movements, smiles, blinks and the rest.

To create this amazing new feature, the developers of Microsoft Swiftkey said that they have trapped thousands of images and videos from many different volunteers to train a deep neural network which is capable of identifying every person’s movements and expressions in a real time, resulting in Animoji For Android.

According to the senior programmer, Deepak Paramound, of Microsoft, they have created puppets, which are basically a group of furry and cute friends that people can control by simply being themselves. Choose one of the five different animals and record a message of fewer than 30 seconds, and finally share these Animoji For Android via Microsoft Swiftkey. Along with this, puppets can automatically recognize when a user opens their mouth or smiles and then make a copy of Animated Emoticons. It is so accurate that, these 3D Animated Animal Emojis can even copy a person when they blink.

The company also said that the puppets are using thousands of crowd sourced videos and images from the Microsoft Swiftkey users.

This looks very similar to the interesting features already available in the market including Apple’s animoji and Huawei’s AR lens. But, placing this functionality directly inside one of the most famous third party mobile keyboard app known as Microsoft Swiftkey, makes it a lot more accessible. The option of recording a personalized video message from the inside of the Swiftkey app allows the Animated Emoticons to appear, which is likely to be a welcome addition.

The Swiftkey’s senior programmer, basically, launches this new feature as they really wanted to provide the Swiftkey users a perfect and fun way to communicate with their loved ones.
