OnePlus Nord Price And Specs Ahead Of Official Launch On July 21

Smartphone giant OnePlus has finally announced the launch date of its most-awaited mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus Nord. OnePlus will be unveiling its new under-budget smartphone Nord on July 21 via an AR event. You can see the front & back of the upcoming mid-range smartphone above. According to the listing of Romanian retailer, the device will be available at Leu 1,406.56/INR 25,000 for the 8GB/128GB RAM & Storage variant respectively.

When converting the price of upcoming OnePlus Nord to US dollars, it calculates to $335, which is of course higher than $300. To be noted, OnePlus had earlier revealed that the device will be priced under $300, which is why we assumed price listing to be associated with placeholders only.

This AR-based launching event will allow viewers to experience the unveiling from their home as well. The application to watch the launching event of OnePlus Nord will be available on Google Play and Apple App Store. It will be launched on July 21 and the event will start at 19:30 IST. 

Rumors have stated that the Nord will come up with a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, a 16MPsecondary sensor and another 2MP tertiary sensor to capture all the details. It will be effective while capturing movable objects. However, this combination has been reported several times, which claim that the device will come with a quad camera.

Visiting various websites, we found that the OnePLus Nord may support a quad rear camera setup. This will be at variance with Romaninan Retailer’s listing. If it comes up with a quad camera setup, then the specs may change. It will then be available with a 48MP primary sensor associated with an 8MPwide angle lens, a 5MP macro lens and of course, a 2MP depth sensor to bring life to your memories.

We’ve covered it’s feature & specs leaks earlier when the phone was supposed to be named “OnePlus Z”. However, there are lots of rumors surfacing that time, even the phone was anticipated to be launched on July 10 according to the TUV Rheinland’s official website. Though that was another rumor. Expected Specification & Features of OnePlus Nord

According to “The Indian Express”, the OnePlus will feature a 6.55-inch super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s no wonder that the OnePlus Nord will  improve your gaming experience. Though users have already experienced a Super AMOLED Display in the OnePlus 7T, but this mid-range smartphone from OnePlus will be different.

Officials have confirmed that OnePlus Nord will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. High-speed & best-in-class gaming experience is guaranteed if it comes with this feature. Earlier Samsung A71 was also rumored to be released with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, but that was merely a rumor.

The device is also said to  be packed with a 4,300mAh battery that would be adequate to browse and binge watch Netflix. Also, the OnePlus Nord is expected to come up with a centered hole punch display to sport the front camera. Later on, there will be a 30W wrap charger and the device will be available in two variants - 128 & 256GB laced with 8GB RAM.

The listing also revealed that the device will come up with 5G support. This has already been confirmed by officials as well. OnePlus has ensured that the upcoming Oneplus Nord features optical image stabilisation (OIS). Also, there will be three colors available to choose from - Bright Blue, Mint Green, Black and Grey.

OnePlus has decided to make all the pre-orders special so it will deliver a surprise box packed with the limited edition merchandise of the company. Also, the pre-order customer will receive their device before August 31 along with an additional gift box containing a pair of OnePlus Bullets Wireless V1 and a Phone cover as well.

These specs & features are based on leaks and rumors surfacing the market (expect processor and 5G support). The company is yet to announce the camera specification and other features for the OnePlus Nord. Notably, the launching event will be held on July 21 and OnePlus Nord will first launch in India and Europe followed by North America. The OnePlus Nord price in India starts at Rs. 24,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant that is exclusive to the country.
