Leading smartphone brand OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 8 series in April but there have been a lot of rumors surfaced about OnePlus Z aka OnePlus Nord. This budget-friendly phone is rumored to be launched on July 10, 2020. The phone has been leaked on various events in the past, but now it’s pretty sure that it’ll be launched soon on July 10. OnePlus Z recently spotted on the official website of TUV Rheinland that reveals fast charming details of the smartphone. 

There are lots of questions, like why OnePlus Nord aka OnePlus Z teased on Rhienland’s  website? Well, TUV Rheinland certification means all new OnePlus Z will be comfortable to eyes with astonishing features, including ‘low blue light emission’. Following the same, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei has reminisced it’s very first phone launch - OnePlus One - and threw some hints of launching all upcoming OnePlus phones at possible price point. 

We know everyone is excited and eagerly waiting for this supersonic powerful phone that is rumored to come up with MediaTek processor and maybe crowned with Dimensity 1000 chipset. OnePlus Z: Camera

So, we’ll start with the camera of this device which is rumored to come up with dual-rear camera setup. Renders of the OnePlus suggested that the phone will spot three camera sensors on the back side. It’s primary camera of 48MP sensors will pair with a 16MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP in-depth sensor. Front camera of OnePlus Z is anticipated to be a 16Mp selfie shooter. 

There is nothing about the rumors because some rumors surfacing the market also suggested a primary camera of 64MP rear camera. However, according to Tipster Max J, the upcoming OnePlus smartphone will be named OnePlus Nord and may come up with four cameras at the back.

Let’s get back in time in 2019, OnLeaks and 91Mobiles leaked some info from the bag of OnePlus justifying mid-range phones from the company that could feature a centered punch-hole display with gorilla protection. Front & Back cameras were rumored to be placed in a vertical module towards the left side of the back of this mid-range phone. As of now there is nothing but rumors therefore, we relied on another rumor in which a picture was posted showing off an in-display fingerprint sensor in this OnePlus Z.

With every rumor the clientele gets shaped and the same happens with OnePlus Z. in the beginning the phone was rumored to be powered by a MediaTek processor — Dimesity 800 or 1000 chipset. However, another rumor suggested that the OnePlus phone could instead be powered by a Snapdragon 765G processor because it’s a mid-range phone and most affordable devices are coming up with this. A Geekbench list highlights the OnePlus Z to feature an Octa-core Qualcomm processor with a clock speed of 1.8GHz paired with 12GB of RAM.

OnePlus Z: Battery & More

This Mid-range smartphone is anticipated to come up with a 4,000mAh and wrap 30T superfast charger. With a few major changes, the device is rumored to operate on Android 10 which will be completely out of the box as it goes beyond OnePlus’s Own OxygenOS 10 on the top. The screen ended with a 6.4 inch AMOLED FHD panel with 90Hz refresh rate. 

OnePlus Z: Release Date & Price in India

Earlier the phone was believed to launch with the previously launched OnePlus 8 series in April, however, the company understands the public relations well, therefore the officials put it on hold for another event to interact with customers. The phone has not expected to launch in July and there are possibilities that it could launch on July 10, and the price could start at $299 or INR 22, 789 in India.
