VAIO’s 12.5 inch latest Tiny Laptop – SX12

VAIO SX12

VAIO is looking to announce its new upcoming laptop named as SX12, with a 12.5 inch screen along with a large number of I/O options than that of heftier machines. This upcoming laptop, basically, is the follow up for its previous S11 laptop. However, being the successor, the VAIO SX12 features are expected to be having much more efficient use of space along with a larger screen and keycaps in almost about the same body size.

You can look at anything and just simply plug in with this upcoming VAIO SX12 laptop, as there are tons of ports present in this tiny laptop. The tons of ports include three USB-A ports, HDMI, a full sized SD card slot, one USB-C for charging, a headphone/mic port, an Ethernet port, and even VGA. The bezels have been slimmed down along with the stretched keys to the edge of the laptop. This upcoming SX12, basically, uses the Intel 8th Gen quad core i7 or i5 processors along with an optional LTE module. The VAIO’s SX12 laptop weighs around 888 grams or just under two pounds. This thin and light laptop disapproves the theory that thin and light laptops cannot do the connectivity, which on the first place was stated by Apple’s unwillingness to put any ports or anything.

However, all the new features shown above is still a piece of good news. While the bad news is that, this SX12 laptop is currently going on sale in Japan at a cost range of 119,800 yen and 216,800 yen. But there is still not a word when it will make its step in the UK or even in the US. Though we will just have to hop this laptop while, it frankly consists of the stupendous amount of ports that make it over at some point of the stage.

This upcoming SX12 laptop has the storage of up to 16 GB RAM along with 1 TB SSD. There is also a multi-touch trackpad that includes 2 buttons, an anti-glare coating on the display, a fingerprint sensor, a full size “silent keyboard”, 14 hours of claimed battery life, and an optional LTE module, which allows the users to get online while on the move.

In the past years, several other machines included under the VAIO range have made it out of Japan, so we also expect this with some luck that’s what will happen here.
