Apple Launching iOS 18.2 Soon With Powerful Upgrades

Apple introduced the first leg of Apple Intelligence features in October with iOS 18.1. With this, users received a handful of updates, such as Siri UI. Now, the Cupertino-based tech giant is planning to launch its next software update—iOS 18.2. This update is expected to roll out in the first week of December. Technology journalist Mark Gurman shared that the latest iOS will come out on December 2 without delays. 

Mark Gurman also mentioned in his weekly newsletter ‘Power On’ that the next update after iOS 18.2 will be iOS 18.4, rolling out in April next year. Currently, iOS 18.2 is available to beta testers, and it has exciting features like Genmoji, Image Playground, visual intelligence, and ChatGPT integration in Siri. 

Apple typically launches iOSxx.4 updates in March, meaning iOS 18.4 will be released after almost a month. It is also worth noting that iOS 18.2 will only be released in US English. 

Every feature in the latest iOS serves a different purpose. For example, the Genmoji in iOS 18.2 will allow users to create almost every emoji they can think of. ChatGPT integration will allow image generation, text drafting, and unique content generation capabilities. Apple is also updating its writing tools in iOS 18.2.
