There are many reasons available for calling restrictions. To figure out the exact problem. We’ve listed some reasons and their solutions to fix them.

  • Network Issue

One of the most common reasons for restricted phone calls is that the person you’re calling may not have a good network connection, or you may have poor network coverage. Your call is dependent on the network’s status, whether it's your mobile or the recipient's.

To fix this issue, make sure your and the recipients' mobiles both have a good network strength or wait while you try again and put your phone in aeroplane mode, then turn it off to make a call.

  • Your Number May Be Blocked

Suppose your number is blocked from the recipient's mobile, either intentionally or unintentionally. In that case, it will show that the number you have dialed has calling restrictions, as their phone will automatically stop receiving your calls.

To fix this, call the person from another phone and ask them to unblock you.

  • Network Operator Calling Restrictions

Usually, the number you have dialed has calling restrictions due to network operator calling restrictions, which means unpaid bills, caller ID restrictions, or because you are outside your plan's service area. If you’re making calls outside your service plan, meaning international calls or long-distance calls, make sure you are within the service area of your phone.

To fix these restrictions, like Verizon calling restrictions, call your mobile company to check if your bill is paid or not. If unpaid, then settle the bill to have unlimited calls.

  • Phone Applications

A phone application or device used for calling also pushes restricted phone calls.

To fix this, give permission to the app by following the instructions.

  • How to call back a restricted number on Android:
