Panasonic Lumix S1h- Full Frame Mirrorless Camera With 6k 24p
Panasonic is ready to welcome its new member which is working on a video-focused version of its full-frame mirrorless camera. The device is calling with the name “Lumix S1 H”. This Panasonic Lumix S1 H will be the third edition of the new S1 series. The company claimed during Cine Gear 2019 that it would be the world’s first interchangeable lens mirrorless camera.
Panasonic Full Frame Camera Features
The company has shared some key features of the new camera Lumix S1H. The one feature of the camera is it shoots 5.9K video at 30fps (16:9 aspect ratio). The Panasonic Lumix S1 H Rumors told that the camera can also record in multiple aspect ratios such as anamorphic 4:3 format. Also, it is to be said that it is the first camera to shoot 10 bit 4K and cinema 4K video at 60fps.
• 6K at 24 fps (3:2)
• 5.9 at 30p
• 10 bit 4K at 60fps
• Power via USB-C
• SD/XQD card slots
• 14+ stops of dynamic range with V-log
• Unlimited recording until camera’s battery die or memory fills up
The Panasonic 6K Camera expected to give wide color gamut, comparable to its cinema Varicam cinema cameras. The users will be able to shoot V-Log/V Gamut with a dynamic range of 14+stops. Additionally, the camera will also able to record no-stop video (under regular operating temperature) until the battery dies or your memory card ends up. This feature of the camera will not find anywhere else.
However, one news is to be heard that Panasonic Full Frame Camera will be able to crop 4K DCI video to a super 35 mm (roughly APS-C) equivalent size. Even though, it looks like the largest effective sensor area on a mirrorless camera for 60fps 4K video.
As we mentioned earlier, Panasonic Lumix Si H has a wide dynamic range that should help to capture detailed picture even in extremely dark or bright sections of a scene. Due to its large sensor and 6k video, the camera could get hot, so the Upcoming Panasonic Lumix S1 H is designed in the way that it dissipates the heat better than S1/S1R.
Users will get in-camera LUT application to make on set monitoring more accurate, 96Hz audio with an optional XLR accessory and a waveform brightness level display.
Although, there is a lot more information we don’t know about the S1 H which the company has not disclosed yet. Like the company has not clear whether it will sport a depth-from-defocus contrast-detect AF system like other model do (S1 & S1R), or use a hybrid phase-detect system.
Although, the camera is still under work and expected to launch globally around Q3 of 2019. Moving towards the Panasonic Lumix S1 H Price, $4000 makes the camera strictly professional equipment. This is the Panasonic Lumix S1 H expected price which is still surprising for many of the users who are expecting the camera in some large amount.
