Apple iOS 13: Dark Mode & Sleep Mode to cross platform apps

Apple is now working on the next version of its mobile operating system iOS 13. The manufacturers will release it in this year’s worldwide developer conference (WWDC) which will be organized in September. The company releases a number of new features and upgraded apps with the help of iOS. These redesigned or upgraded apps also include the sleep mode app, Reminders app, dark mode apps, etc. The company Apple is also planning for launching a number of major software updates. This will also help in the company’s flagship iOS and Mac operating system. In addition to the new software, Apple is going to announce its long-awaited update to the Mac Pro. IOS 13 brings new features to the app which you use every day. The new updates are rich with maps, photos, dark mode, privacy protection features, and sleep mode, etc.

Dark Mode

IOS will add a system called dark mode which was first introduced to the iPhone on the Mac operating system revealed last year according to the report of 9to5Mac. It is said to match the dark mode of the Mac operating system Mojave released last year. By clamping a switch in the control center or the settings app, users will be able to enable dark mode throughout the operating system. It means that the white interface elements will become black and the images and texts will invert rightly. It helps in easy viewing of texts and images at night. This is a very good advantage for the iPhone users which are using OLED display such as X, XS, and XS Max. On this type of display, pixels are fully turned off which results in the upgradation of battery life. This particular Apple app will help to support at launch and developers.

Here, it is described that dark mode will be a “black and grey-heavy interface optimized for viewing at night” which is connected with an easy on-off switch in the control center. iPhone has a beautiful new look with the dark mode, a new dark color scheme. This particular feature is provided to third-party app developers. And this is used for integration of their own apps which can be scheduled to turn on automatically at sunset or at a certain time.

Sleep Mode

Recently, Bloomberg reported that iOS included a new feature which is known as Dark Mode. It helps to tie-in heavily with the existing features in the clock app. This will automatically enable the Dark Mode, Do Not Disturb, and mute notifications on the device. It also conducts the integration with the bedtime alarm in the clock app. It also looks similar to the perfect companion to an Apple Watch with sleep tracking capabilities.

Cross-Platform iOS and Mac apps

Apple iPhone established a new framework by using iOS 12 and Mac operating system. It is used for running its own iOS only apps on Mac like Stocks, Home, and Voice Memos. Apple plans to enlarge this functionality to developers. It helps to make their apps cross-platform compatible.

According to the report, Apple’s redesigned “Find My iPhone App” will bring off “Find My Friends”. It also involves a new “Find Network” feature for allowing Apple devices to be tracked even if you are not connected to Wi-Fi or a cellular network. It has various types of apps to control.
