Shure Aonic 40 Specifications: General Design and Features

Based on the Shure Aonic 40 review, we are suggesting the design and specifications. If we talk about the general design of the Shure Aonic 40, it comes with comfortable ear cups. The cushioned ear pads have faux-leather lining and underside padding, making them convenient for long use. An elegant twisted metallic piece connects the headband to the earcups, which showcase the Shure logo on their outer panels.

For those who prefer long-listening sessions, the headphones earpads are the main concern. Shure reduced a huge pressure from the users with these comfortable cushioned ear pads, as we can see from the Shure Aonic 40 review.

Moving towards other features like software, Shure Aonic 40 delivers a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz. The Shure headphones are compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 and support AAC, AptX, AptX HD, and SBS Bluetooth codes. However, the high-fidelity LDAC codec support is missing and can be one minus point.

Coming back to the Shure Aonic 40 specifications, the Bluetooth button is set on the left earcup, while the right earcup features the volume button, a multifunction button for playback, call management, voice assistance, track navigation, and a button for switching between ANC and environmental modes. So, the right earcup has a load to control the bulk of features with a USB-C port and headphone jack. Oh! So much load! But still, they are managed in a way that is easy to memorize and operate.

The Shure headphones come with a 3.5mm audio cable for passive listening and a USB-C-to-USB-A charging cable. You can also use a USB cable for audio, which is a new addition to the Shure headphones.

In our Shure Aonic 40 review, the headphones last for 25 hours. But we make it very clear that the results will vary depending on the volume.

Last But Not Least, Sound Quality!

This is one of the types of headphones boasts with preset. It makes Shure Aonic 40 capable of delivering punchy blasting bass on the demand of the users. There is one more feature about the preset, the clarity of the sound is next level no matter what the volume level is. Overall, the sound quality of the headphones is impressive, especially on the heavier music style, because of the preset.

As per the Shure Aonic 40 review, noise-cancellation does a decent job of blocking unnecessary background noise. However, it can not match the Boss and Sony level, but for the price of $250, it gets the perfect job done.

Overall, Shure Aonic 40 headphones offer strong, accuracy-focused audio and with nice active noise cancellation all time. With these features, this would soon be considered the best headphones in India available at affordable prices.

A Comprehensive Companion App

Okay, that’s very cool about Aonic 40 that we found in our Shure Aonic 40 review. Shure has an app namely ShurePlus Play, for Android and iOS both, that lets you play your songs on demand. You can customize the on-ear controls and toggle several settings. For example, you can switch into the conferencing mode, enable the Busy light function, also includes Apple Music integration and user guides.

You may not know about the several features of the Shure headphones but this app will help you understand and access all at ease. Along with this, the app also allows you to switch between Light Normal Max ANC modes and also fader the Environmental mode. We have checked the compatibility of the app in our Shure Aonic 40 review, and it went very well.

The Goods

  • Better Battery Life

  • Comfortable earcups

  • Great Noise-cancellation

  • Full EQ customization

  • ShurePlus app ─ a comprehensive companion app

  • Multiple connectivity options

  • Strong Audio quality

The Bads

  • No automatic pausing

  • The headband is slightly tight

You also do not need to worry about carrying the headphones as it comes with a handsome faux-leather zip-up case that protects the headphones from all sides, up and down, left and right.

The overall Shure Aonic 40 review says that the headphone is a blend of studio-inspired sound quality, long battery life, in-app customization, and easy lifestyle integration. We see it as a top contender among the best headphones in India, especially at this pricing point. You can consider purchasing it for improved sound quality and long-lasting listening sessions.
