MacBook Pro Review

The MacBook Pro 2023 is a high-end laptop made for professionals. This powerful machine comes with a choice of new M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. Apple’s Macbook Pro series was first launched in 2021 with a vision to stand out and fulfill the purpose in which it actually succeeded. However, the tech giant redesigned the 2021 version by upgrading certain features like battery, processor, and display. The Apple-owned M2 chip upgrade boosts the performance and enhances the battery optimisation of the laptop.

The outer body of the laptop is the same as the 2021 edition however Apple did some hard work in optimising the performance, making it a perfect machine for graphic designing. But now the question is, if you have the MacBook Pro 2021, should you upgrade to the 2023 edition?  In this write-up, we will share an honest review of the MacBook Pro 2023, along with the answer to whether you should upgrade or not.

Apple MacBook Pro Review - Design And Display

In terms of design, Apple’s new MacBook Pro has the same chassis as the last one. The box-like design gives it a unique and fresh look. Both laptops have a Liquid Retina XDR display with a notch on its top. In the Macbook Pro review, we found that the viewing angles and colours of both displays are great.

Apple MacBook Pro Review - Performance

Both the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are fitted with the Apple-owned M2 Pro or M2 Max chipset (either or the two), making it a powerhouse. Moreover, apple gives you the option to choose the RAM while purchasing the machine. We performed multiple tests on the Macbook like gaming, graphic design, and video rendering to know the machine's true potential. And we were completely satisfied with the MacBook Pro in terms of performance.

Apple MacBook Pro Review - Battery Life

Since the ages, low battery capacity is the biggest concern with Apple products. During the MacBook Pro review, we found out that both laptops have a long-lasting battery capacity which we tested by browsing, streaming videos, and using Wi-Fi. The MacBook Pro 14-inch (M2 Pro) battery lasted for 14 hours and 20 minutes while the MacBook Pro 16-inch (M2 Max) lasted for almost 19 hours beating every other laptop.

Apple MacBook Pro Review - Should You Upgrade To The 2023 Version?

All the features of the MacBook Pro 2023 are similar to one launched in 2021 by Apple. Should you purchase Apple's new machine? Definitely yes! During the MacBook Pro review, we were completely shocked by the display, battery, and incredible performance of the M2 chip. Furthermore, if you already own the Apple Laptop 2021 edition, there is no good reason to buy the 2023 model; stick with it as you will not get any outstanding features in the recently launched machine.
