Today, pretty much every big tech company has a generative AI model. From Google To OpenAI, generative AI models are the way to the future. So, it's no surprise that Microsoft also has a generative AI model. Dubbed Copilot, you might know about this generative AI assistant if you use Bing browser by Microsoft. However, Microsoft has integrated this AI model into their new Windows 11 update. According to Microsoft, the new Copilot is capable of controlling every aspect of Windows, as per your instructions, obviously. However, many people are still sceptical about how competent Copilot in Windows 11 is and what all the use cases of this generative AI assistant are.

Just like any other generative AI model, Copilot incorporates machine learning and Natural Language Processing to chat with you, perform tasks, or provide you with information on a specific topic. This is pretty normal for a generative AI model. Even after you type “ Turn On Dark Mode,” you’ll still have to click YES to confirm the action, which is not how an AI assistant should work. Not only this, but even when you press YES, it will still educate you on what's about to happen and what it will do to activate the Dark Mode, and we don’t need that. This is the general consensus about the Copilot in Windows; your result may vary from ours. However, this is merely the first rendition of Copilot AI in Windows, and experts believe that this AI assistant will become much more competent in the near future and can even run your Windows without you having to lift a finger. It is believed that this AI assistant will be even more competent in the new Windows 12, which will incorporate many other AI features as well.
