The Google Pixel 9 Series: Is It Too Good To Be True?

Google is gearing up to release its much-anticipated Pixel 9 series at the 'Made By Google' event on 14 August. As the tech world evolves each day, users expect much better specifications, features, and even design. However, Google has also promised to push boundaries in its next flagship series, the Pixel 9.
At the event, the company is set to unveil four new Pixel devices: the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Notably, it is the first time Google is holding a Pixel launch ahead of the iPhone launch in September. Will it impact the new iPhone launch? Google probably plans to compete with every year's most-awaited smartphone launch.
Google Pixel 9 Expected Specifications & Price
Pixel 9 will likely have a 6.3-inch display and be available in four colours: black, light grey, porcelain, and pink. However, the camera set is expected to resemble the predecessor. The new Tensor G4 chipset could power it, and the phone might have up to 12GB of RAM. The price of Google Pixel 9 is expected to be $799 or INR 67,074.

On the other hand, these two models are likely to be powered by the Tensor G4 SoC with 16 GB RAM. The batteries are expected to be 4,558 mAh and 4,942 mAh, respectively. The price for the different variants may be -

Google Pixel 9 Fold Expected Specifications & Price
Google Pixel 9 Fold is expected to come with a 6.4-inch cover display and an 8-inch inner display. It is predicted to have a triple camera setup on the back, including a 48MP primary, 12 MP ultra-wide-angle, and 10.8 MP Telephoto. The front camera is expected to be 10MP.
The Google Pixel 9 Fold could be priced at $2,073 or INR 1,74,095 for 256 GB and $2,215 or INR 1,86,016 for 256 GB, respectively.
The Pixel 9 series is rumoured to offer significant updates, including enhanced AI capabilities, an improved camera, and an efficient battery. Tech enthusiasts are particularly excited about this new Google series.
The camera is always the highlight of the Pixel series. It may include a periscope zoom lens, allowing for a more versatile photography experience even in low light.
In terms of design, the Pixel 9 series is rumoured to sport a sleek, thinner, lightweight body, making it aesthetically appealing and easy to handle. In addition to these, Google may also add enhanced security features.
