Vivo Z1 Pro With ‘In-Display Selfie Camera’ To Be Launch In India Soon

Vivo India announced the launch of Vivo Z1 pro with the partnership of Flip kart on Wednesday in India. Though we can expect it to be soon, no exact launch date is announced yet. Vivo Z1 Pro has not been launched in any market as India will be the first country to receive it. Vivo confirmed this phone is named as Vivo Z1 Pro will be the first Z-Series Smartphone to be launched in India. It is also Vivo’s first online-focused Smartphone which is targeted at Gen Z consumers. The most exciting highlight of the phone is its ‘in-display selfie camera tech’ – referring to a hole-punch cutout.

Vivo Z1 Pro Features:

According to the Vivo Z1 Pro leaks, it is going to offer “seamless performance”. However, the feature is having the processor, RAM, and the optimized interface was not specified. Flipkart discloses on its app that the onboard SoC (System on a chip) will be a part of Qualcomm Snapdragon 700-Series. The company also gave the information that the phone’s wide-view screen might be “Perfect for Multitasking”.

Vivo Z1 Pro is going to deliver a “full-day long lasting battery life”, though it has not the detailed battery capacity.  It will also offer the company’s own fast charging technology with no speed figures mentioned.

Vivo Z1 Pro Camera:

The Vivo Z1 Pro will also come up with an “AI Triple Rear Camera” set up which said to deliver great shorts from landscapes to portraits. Its setup will be an amazing one. The biggest highlight of the Smartphone will be its in-display front camera. This will said to be the first camera of Vivo with such features. The company will also add the in-display selfie camera with its AI Face Beauty feature for selfie beautification.

In some of the few past weeks, manufacturers such as Oppo, Honor, and Xiaomi all have announced that they are working on under-display camera technology. The company Vivo launched a punch-hole display Smartphone recently, the Vivo Z5x, and the Vivo Z1 Pro may be the India variant of that phone. Coming to the partnership with Flipkart, Vivo India said the statement that offerings meaningful and innovative experience has been a key pillar of our strategy in partnership with Flipkart is a step further in any direction. The new Z-series has been designed to empower the people to fulfill the dynamic needs of the ‘Gen Z’.”   Flipkart has given a statement that “Vivo and Flipkart have worked together to understand the needs of Indian Customers which has resulted in bringing to life Vivo's Z1 Pro for Gen Z users”.

Vivo Z1 Pro Price in India (expected):

There are some expectations comes from Vivo Z1 Pro rumors that the price in India will be similar to the Z5x’s China, which starts at price of CNY 1,398 (roughly 14,400 INR) which for the 4GB + 64GB variant. The, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 64GB variants will retail at CNY 1,698 (roughly 17,400 INR), CNY 1,998 (roughly 20,500 INR), CNY 1,498 (roughly 15,400 INR) respectively.

Specifications of Vivo Z1 Pro (expected):

The specific characteristics of this upcoming Smartphone upcoming Vivo Z1 Pro are given below-

  • It has the dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo Z5x runs on Android 9 pie with OS 9 on the top. The phone includes a 6.53-inch full-HD + (1080*2340 pixels) screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

  • It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM.

  • It will come with a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 16-megapixel primary shooter with an f/1.78 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth camera with f/2.4, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The company has packed a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/0.2 lens.

  • It has packed up to 128GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot (up to 256GB), a massive 5,000mAh battery, and a rear fingerprint sensor.

  • The connectivity option includes Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth.

  • The required dimension of this phone are 162.39*77.33*8.85mm and it 204.1 grams.
