HP Omen X 2S – Upcoming Dual Screen Gaming Laptop

To stand at the top of the ever growing market of gaming laptops, HP has unveiled its latest 15.6 inches of Omen X 2S that is also touted by them to be the world’s first dual screen design. Dual screen laptops are expected to be one of the technologies that soon intent to become a raging trend. Though, Asus has already surprised everyone by adding massive second screen display to its ZenBook Lineup, while Intel is still planning for innovation of future dual screen laptops.

This upcoming HP machine is expected to be having 15 inch display panel that includes a 144Hz refresh rate. But with the help of its second screen of 6 inches display, this upcoming gaming laptop becomes an interesting technology for the users to look for. The secondary touch screen panel of HP Omen X 2S comes up with 1080p. The HP Omen X 2S is expected to be included with a ninth generation Intel Core i9 CPU along with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Max Q graphics. Apart from this, HP is also expected to offer its top end Omen X 2S with 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. It also has a 32GB of DDR4 RAM along with the option of switching between Intel Optane storage too.

The HP Omen X 2S is basically a gaming laptop which is designed by keeping the requirements of young gamers in mind. With the help of simultaneous operation of both the displays, the users can enable multi window and mirroring experience.

This new upcoming Omen X 2S is expected to be included with a 20 mm thick chassis that is made up of metal. Proprietary thermal management technology is being used in this gaming laptop, which works with the help of three sided vents and supports five-way airflow. A special liquid metal CPU thermal paste is also expected to be included in it, which offers 10 times higher thermal conductivity than ordinary silicon grease. Moreover, to reduce the heat, there is a 12V fan with a three phase liquid bearing motor.

Similar to other gaming laptops, HP Omen X 2S is also rumored to be included with a backlit keyboard having RGB lighting. Alongside the Omen X 2S, HP is also expected to launch its new Omen 15 and Omen 17 models for the gaming lovers. This HP Omen X 2S is expected to be available for the users from 3rd of July 2019 with an expected price of around $2,100 or INR 1, 48,000.
