Upcoming Amazon Wristband Which Can Track Human Emotions
Amazon is now working on a wearable device to detect your emotions. It is derived from the product of Alexa and Lab 126 hardware team. It is a wrist-worn device that can be connected with a Smartphone. It is currently being tested, internally under the code name “Dylan”. This particular device allows determining a speaker’s mood and responding depending upon their voice. We come to know that, the new development of this product follows a patent of 2017 issued for the company, according to the Bloomberg report.
This gadget is designed as a health and wellness product in internal documents reviewed by Bloomberg. Lab126, the hardware development group behind Amazon’s Fire Phone and Echo smart speaker, and the Alexa voice software team all together are participating to make this product. The news comes to that, this device will look like an Apple watch or a fit bit. It is designed to work with a Smartphone app which is having microphones paired with software. And it will recognize the wear’s emotional state from the sound of his or her voice. And finally, it’ll be able to advise the wearer how to interact more effectively with others. The team is trying to discover the product as soon as possible. It will consider a commercial device.
This particular technology will be helpful in gaining insights for potential health products or be used to better target advertising or product recommendations. According to the Bloomberg report, Amazon has a team listening to and annotating audio clips captured by the company’s Echo line of Voice-activated speakers.
