The Huawei P50 and P50 Pro have been officially launched. But the smartphones haven't been put on sale for global customers and are currently available only in China and Malaysia. Customers around the world will soon be able to buy this phone, according to the company.

The Huawei P50 and P50 Pro are two big entries in the smartphone market. These two phones are photography-focused, with overall high-end specs, but especially in the camera department. We have chosen to review the Huawei P50. You can find everything out of the Huawei P50 review in the details below.

Huawei P50 Foldable Phone First Impression

Huawei P50 or Huawei P50 Pocket is the clear replica of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. It is also a foldable phone that comes with a clamshell design. The handset is smart and boasts an innovative and impressive display. Here is everything about its foldable display.

Display & Design

Huawei P50 review suggested that the phone has a flat-edge OLED 6.5-inch screen. When folded, the phone smoothly fits in your pocket. It is very satisfying to open the device as it smoothly opens and gets fully extended to 6.5-inch.

Although there are other foldable phones like Motorola Razr, Xiaomi, and of course, Samsung Flip Z 3, the Huawei P50 Pocket handset comes with some different features.

Once it opens, the two screens get merged so nicely that it won’t make you realize that it is not a foldable phone. The resolution is 1228 X 2700, with a refresh rate of 90Hz, and touch input is 300 Hz.

Huawei P50 Camera Performance

Huawei is nowadays coming with a high-end camera. In our Huawei P50 review, we found that the handset comes with three shooters: 50 MP, 13MP, and 12 MP. The company played fair with the photoholic people.

While Huawei P50 Pro sports 50MP, 40MP, and 13MP, that means the series comes with a very high-resolution camera. The front-facing camera in both the phones is 13 MP, a little low when compared to other snappers, but enough for clear and sharp selfies.

Huawei P50 Battery, Performance, and Other Features

The Huawei P50 has a 4100 mAh battery, whereas the Pro gets a slightly bigger 4360 mAh power back. Both of these are quite good, and if not, you need not worry about it as the company has combined it with 66W fast charging support.

The Huawei P50 Review suggested that the smartphone comes with Harmony 2.0. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 888 chipset, which is the latest processor available in Android phones.

The phone supports 8 GB RAM with 128 and 256 GB internal memory. Users can also expand their memory through SD cards. Huawei P50 price is somewhere around $899.

One downside with the Huawei P50 is the phone supports a 4G network, so users who want to use the 5G network can not access the 5G network in either of these phones.

At the same time, the good thing is - HarmonyOS is designed to support other Huawei devices. So if you have a tablet or smartwatch from the same company, you would be able to connect easily and make the most of it.

All the latest Huawei phones run on HarmonyOS. However, the software doesn’t feel a million miles from Android, but it surely brings a few changes. Let’s see, what upcoming Huawei handsets will bring into the market?
