Google Pixel 11 Launch: Everything You Need to Know

Google Pixel 11: Price, Specs & Everything New in 2026

The wait is finally over! Google officially pulled back the curtain on its highly anticipated Google Pixel 11 series at a star-studded Made by Google event in New York City. This year's reveal happened a week earlier than last year’s Pixel 10 launch. It was a clever strategy to slide right in between the latest summer releases from Samsung and the upcoming autumn launches from Apple.

If you decide to order early, Google is tossing in a sweet pre-order incentive: six months of its premium Google AI Pro service completely free. This is shaping up to be one of the most significant Google phone launches in years, and we are going to break down exactly why.

Google Pixel 11 Price — How Much Does It Cost?

Before we look inside the phone, let us talk about how much it costs. The biggest change this year is that Google completely got rid of the small 128GB storage version. Now, every single phone in the lineup starts with a much better 256GB of storage. Because you are getting double the basic storage, the price for the regular Pixel 11 now starts a bit higher at $899.

Google Pixel 11 Specs — What Is Inside?

The biggest news inside the Pixel 11 series is the brand-new Tensor G6 chip. This processor powers all four models, and it is the very first smartphone chip built on TSMC's cutting-edge 2-nanometer (2nm) process node. This is the most advanced architecture available in the world right now, making the phone incredibly fast and power-efficient. The Tensor G6 features a 7-core processor, a powerful new graphics engine, and a MediaTek M90 modem. This marks the first time Google has completely replaced its old Samsung modems to improve your cellular signal.

The base Pixel 11 offers a beautiful 6.3-inch smooth 120Hz display, 12GB of RAM, and a large 4,885mAh battery. It also features an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. On the back, it features a triple-camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens, alongside a 10.5MP front camera for selfies. Plus, Google added fast Qi2.2 magnetic wireless charging up to 25W across all models. This places Google way ahead of Samsung, which still hasn't adopted this convenient magnetic charging standard.

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold — The Foldable Option

If you love massive screens, the beautiful Pixel 11 Pro Fold was also showcased at the event. While the standard models are shipping immediately, the foldable version is following a slightly delayed pattern and is expected to go on sale a bit later.

The new foldable features a comfortable 6.5-inch outer cover screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Google made the entire chassis significantly thinner than the previous Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Google Pixel 9 series. To achieve this incredibly slim pocket profile, Google had to use a slightly smaller internal battery. It is easily the most luxurious device in the new lineup, but it comes with that premium $1,899 starting price tag.

Should You Upgrade to the Pixel 11?

If you are trying to decide whether to buy this phone, it helps to look at what you are using right now. This year is all about polishing and cleaning up existing features instead of changing the whole design from scratch. The main upgrades are the super-fast 2nm Tensor G6 chip, the glowing HiLight LED ring on the back, Magic Capture photography, and cleaner voice typing that removes your "ums" and "uhs".

  • Who should buy it: If you use a Pixel 9, a Pixel 8, or an older device, you will notice a massive leap in speed, battery life, and smart AI capabilities.

  • Who should wait: If you already own a Pixel 10, the changes here are mostly incremental refinements. You can easily skip this generation and wait to see what the Pixel 12 brings in the future. It is also worth remembering that Apple's new iPhone line launches very soon, and Samsung's competitive models are already available on store shelves.

The Google Pixel 11 series represents Google's most polished and elegant smartphone lineup to date. It might not be a radical reinvention of the smartphone, but it is a masterclass in execution. By combining a highly efficient 2nm processor, helpful visual features like the HiLight ring, and incredibly practical AI tools like Rambler and live video translation, Google has made a fantastic case for anyone looking to upgrade their Android experience.
