SpaceX Launched A New Batch Of Satellites In The Orbit

Recently SpaceX successfully launched another batch of 22 mini-satellites. It will significantly increase the orbital group of the Starlink system, which provides global internet coverage. 

The rocket launching was held in the 40th Launch Complex at the U.S. Space Force Base in Florida. Around one hour after launch, satellites were positioned in orbit. 

Just like planned, the Falcon 9’s first stage returned to the earth around 8 minutes after the liftoff. It touched a drone ship positioned in the Atlantic Ocean. However, the upper stage continued to pull Starlink Satellites to the LEO (Low Earth Orbit). The satellites were deployed after 64 minutes of launch.

According to a SpaceX mission description, it was the 15th launch in the Starlink mission. This underscores the 112 launches of internet satellites under the Starlink project since May 2019 and the 43rd launch in 2024.  

Starlink launches are coming fast nowadays, underscoring SpaceX’s efforts to establish dominance in Orbit. A couple of days ago, SpaceX also launched 23 Starlink broadband satellites.
