The First 64-Megapixel Smartphone With Four Cameras Of Realme

Realme

Realme has brought success in Indian markets in the past couple of years. Their handsets offer excellent value of money that few brands can match up to. Realme’s troubled costs and nice hardware have taken a vast chunk out of Samsung and Xiaomi market share. The Realme X will handle the premium mid-range Smartphone space with a pop-up front camera, AMOLED display, and a 48-megapixel primary sensor. Whereas the Chinese Smartphone maker is now going beyond it’s ‘budget’ and ‘mid-range’ branding to become pioneers. The Realme CEO took a platform i.e. Twitter to show off some of the camera capabilities of the company’s upcoming handsets.

The upcoming premium handset of Realme will feature a primary 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor, which is launched earlier this year. The 64-megapixel sensor on the back will be a part of a quad camera setup. This type of handset will be the first in the lineup of Realme to boast a quad camera setup. The new technology will ditch Realme’s mid-range strategy and go all out with the flagship hardware. The new handset of Realme will put the company in a position to challenge the likes of the Asus 6Z, Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro, OnePlus 7 and many more flagship killer devices.

Oppo by-product complete Realme has taken to the Weibo to point out the rear of the 64-megapixel phone. It is seen to feature a quad camera setup at the black with the 64-megapixel GW1 sensor right on the top. The large sensor of 1/1.72 inch is surrounded by yellow rings. The flash sits right next to the camera sensors. This sensor will allow users to shoot ultra-high pixel images with a resolution of 6912 X 9216 pixels. It will be reversed by AI features, and the phone will launch in China in the second half of this year.

The sensor used in the handset was announced last month and the 64-megapixel ISOCELL bright GW1 sensor would capture 16-megapixel images in low-light scenarios through Samsung’s Tetra cell technology. The sensor may also support up to 100db real-time HDR. Additionally, many devices will allow users to capture 1080p slow motion videos as well as Super PD PDAF technology. There are no other details found about this phone so far.
