The company Huawei launched a pair of new MateBook Series laptops in China. The two new MateBooks are MateBook D 14 and MateBook D 15. These two are powered by the 10th gen Intel processor and have the feature of a sleek and lightweight aluminum build. The company has also revealed configurations of the new Matebook which are powered by AMD’s 12nm Ryzen R5 3500U processor along with Radon Vega 8 graphics. Both the laptops featured a certified display i.e. TUV along with the slim bezels and also sport a fingerprint sensor surrounded in the power button.

Specifications of Huawei MateBook D 14 and MateBook D 15

The features of Huawei MateBook D 15 are very much similar to the specifications of Huawei MateBook D 14, mostly in terms of design and internal specifications. The MateBook D 15 is the bigger model as compared to the MateBook D 14. The MateBook D 15 is having the duo which packs a 15.6-inch full-HD (i.e. 1920 X 1080 pixels) display along with 800:1 contrast ratio, 178-degree viewing angle, 250 nits of peak brightness, and 16:9 aspect ratio. As we know that MateBook D 14 is smaller than MateBook D 15, it is of size 14-inch full-HD (1920 X 1080 pixels) panel.

The MateBook D 14 comes with a 56Wh battery, whereas the MateBook D 15 features with a 42Wh battery. Both the laptops are having dual 2W speakers and also have a 720p webcam hidden below a button in the function key row located at the top that elevates when needed. On both the laptops, there is a USB 3.0 Type-A port, and a couple of USB 2.0 Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and HDMI port. These two laptops come with two color options i.e. Deep grey color and Silver Moon.

In the case of the internal parts, the Ryzen Edition of the MateBook D 15 works the AMDRyzen R5 3500U processor with the same amount of RAM, but with Radeon Vega 8 graphics. This laptop can be configured with up to a 10th gen Intel Core i7-10510 processor coupled with up to 16GB of RAM along with Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics. When coming to the storage, it peaks at 256 GB of SSD paired with 1 TB of HDD storage. The MateBook D 14 is also having similar specifications in terms of the configuration of the processor and RAM.

Price of Huawei MateBook D 14 and MateBook D 15

The price of the smaller laptop i.e. Huawei MateBook D 14 starts from CNY 3,999 (roughly 40,000 INR) to CNY 6,499 (roughly 65,000 INR). On the other hand, the MateBook D 15 is priced from CNY 3,999 (roughly 40,000 INR) to CNY 6,599 (roughly 66,000 INR) which is applicable for the top-end Intel-powered variant. The sale for both the laptop has been started from 3rd December.
