Boult Bassbox X60 Design (Representing Modern Era)
In this Boult Bassbox X60 review, its design is definitely worth mentioning as it features a modern look highlighted by a mesh grill and rounded edges. The front speaker grill has a shiny plastic body with the Boult logo on the front left. The LED indicator is given on the right. The design is definitely impressive, but this speaker lacks a wall-mount option, so it would occupy some space. The build quality of the Boult Bassbox X60 remote could have been better, too, as it lags a bit.
Boult Bassbox X60 Audio Experience (Decent Enough)
This speaker offers 60W power, which is good enough sound. However, it could have been better, as 100W power would provide a powerful listening experience for regular listeners. So, we didn’t like the power much when preparing this Boult Bassbox X60 review. The 2.1-channel output is backed by DSP (Digital Signal Processing) for better sound quality. It provides clear sound quality in low volume, but there is some distortion in high volume. The speaker also doesn’t have a heavy base, so your parties won’t be much amplified with music. There are three sound modes, namely, news, music, and movies, that offer different sound experiences.
Boult Bassbox X60 Connectivity (A Plethora of Options)
What we really liked about this Boult Bassbox X60 with Subwoofer was the connectivity options. This soundbar supports Bluetooth v5.4 for seamless pairing with devices like smartphones, TVs, tablets, etc. Other than Bluetooth, this speaker offers AUX, USB (Universal Serial Bus), Optical and HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) connections to connect devices, which is quite good.
Boult Bassbox X60 Price (A Bit Expensive)
While preparing this Boult Bassbox X60 review, we were shocked by the price of this speaker. Also, unlike many other speakers, such as Sonos One and Amazon Echo, it doesn't have a voice assistant. Although the Boult Bassbox X60 specs aren’t surprising, the price is pretty high. To purchase this soundbar, you need to spend around 10k, which might not be worth it for those looking for an affordable speaker.
According to our Boult Bassbox X60 review, this speaker has multiple connectivity options, which is the only significant benefit in it. But other specs aren't bad either, like 60W power, which is good enough unless you are habitual with powerful listening. The final decision of purchasing or not a Boult Bassbox X60 with a subwoofer is yours. Comment below and share how you liked this speaker review.
