  2. By selecting ‘Reset’ you will see several options. For resetting your Ipad or iPhone, you must select the option called ‘Erase all content and setting’.

  3. A prompt asking you about your iCloud backup before erasing will appear, where you have to select the option of ‘Backup then erase’.

  4. If you don’t want to backup then you should tap the option of ‘Erase now’.

  5. You will see the same option once again were you have to enter your passcode. After doing this, you will be able to reset your iPhone or Ipad.

How To Factory Reset Ipad or iPhone Using Itunes

If you are not able to use your iPhone or Ipad for any reason, then you can easily reset it to factory settings with the help of iTunes too. If anyone who wants to restore your iPhone or Ipad to factory settings via iTunes on their PC or Mac, then they can follow the steps given below;

  1. Connect your iPhone or Ipad to a PC or Mac and open iTunes in it.

  2. Wait for the device’s icon to show up on iTunes. It will appear below the Play/Pause button. Once it shows up then you can click it.

  3. You may be asked to enter the passcode when you click on it and make sure you trust the computer before you enter your passcode.

  4. A blue ‘Restore iPhone’ option will appear on iTunes on your Computer.

  5. Click on the ‘Restore’ button appeared after resetting your IOS device to factory settings.​
