Samsung Galaxy S21 Review: Specifications, Price And More

Samsung Galaxy S21 Review

So the wait for Samsung Galaxy S21 is over and the device has launched more than a month earlier than anticipated along with the great news that can delight Samsung users that its price is significantly cheaper than expected. As always, Samsung has released its series. Samsung Galaxy S21 starts with the base model Samsung Galaxy S21 5G that follows Samsung S21 Plus 5G, and Samsung Galaxy 5G Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Software

Let’s start with the software of the device. The Samsung Galaxy S21 is the flagship device that comes with a wide variety of powerful hardware configuration that sets the phone on the top. The phone runs on the latest generation of chipsets: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 in USA and China & Exynos 2100 (Samsung’s own chipset) for the rest. Apart from this, the phone will run on Samsung One UI based Android v10 (Q) operating system that enhances the performance of the phone.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Design & Display

When we talk about the display of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, all three phones have a different display size. Samsung Galaxy S21 comes with a 6.2 -inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080x2400 at a pixel density of 421 PPI and 120Hz refresh rate.

Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra have a larger display than Samsung Galaxy S21 comparatively. Galaxy S21 comes with 6.7-inch and Galaxy S21 Ultra has a 6.8-inch display respectively.

This time Samsung phones flaunt the new design. Samsung’s new flagship gets a flat-screen instead of curved with the Full HD+ resolution. Besides this, you will get an in-screen fingerprint sensor in a large area, meaning your thumb will get a better chance to access your phone than on the previous two generations of Samsung handsets. This time, the fingerprint sensor is faster to recognize your fingerprint.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Camera

The new flagship phone features a triple camera. The Samsung Galaxy S21 camera specifications are like a 12 MP wide camera, 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and 64MP telephoto capable of a 3X hybrid optical zoom. All three cameras have already proved capable of taking excellent photos as the previous series S20 had these camera specifications. The front camera features 10 MP that can take even better pictures, thanks to updated night and portrait modes.

Samsung has enhanced the camera feature in this latest phone as you can capture photos and videos at the same time with ‘Single Take Camera Mode’, it can do ‘Slow Motion’ video also - and the all-new Director’s view lets you vlog using both the front and rear camera simultaneously. Both - rear and front camera - are capable of capturing 4K video at 60 frames per second and the main camera can do 8K to 24 frames per second.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Storage & Battery

Samsung Galaxy S21 features 128GB of internal storage and if you’re not satisfied with such capacity, the 256 GB model would be a bit more attainable for you. Both versions are paired with 8GB of RAM which is certainly enough to run smartphone tasks. But you can’t extend your memory via a microSD card as it is not supportable.

Coming towards the battery of the new flagship phone - Samsung Galaxy S21- it is as usual as last year, 4,000mAh capacity. But 45W fast charging is missing that worked with the S20 series. The new phone has a 25W quick with wireless charging capability which is good enough according to Samsung.
