Top 5 Best Weapon Perks In Destiny 2

Best Weapon Perks In Destiny 2

The Destiny 2 game has proved itself when it comes to gameplay and game mechanics. With all kinds of weapons showing off different styles of gameplay, we can see why players tend to get a bit crazy when it comes to Destiny 2 weapons. But what is most notable about the weapons in Destiny 2 are the perks and traits they present for each and every kind of weapon.

With players looking forwards to choosing the right weapon traits, all while preparing for the Witch Queen Carry, it can prove to be hard! That is why here we will take a look at the best weapon perks in Destiny 2!

5. Chain Reaction

The first weapon trait that we are going to take a look at is Chain Reaction. This Legendary trait is nothing less than awesome. The Chain Reaction trait makes an elemental damage explosion if the weapon shot kills the enemy. You might have noticed why this trait is beloved by many players in PvE. Clearing off hordes of enemies makes it just that easy with this weapon trait. It can be used in PvP too, but Chain Reaction dominates the PvE scene.

Used with Grenade and Rocket Launchers, the Chain Reaction trait dominates with Power weapons.

4. Overflow

Overflow is a legendary trait and being honest here, it holds that title pretty well! The Overflow weapon trait makes it such that when you pick up Heavy or Special ammo, it reloads your weapon beyond its capacity. Imagine not having to worry about reloading that much, and the sheer power when you combine the Overflow trait with a Rocket Launcher, making it that you can shoot 2 rockets before reloading!

Unlike Chain Reaction, the Overflow has compatibility in PvP and PvE. I mean, who couldn’t use some extra magazine in their weapon?

3. Frenzy

Are you a hyperactive player that wants to stay in combat at all times? Then the Frenzy Legendary trait is for you! What this trait essentially does is it gives you increased damage, handling, and reload speed the more you stay in combat. But if you are interested in the specific numbers for the Frenzy trait, it gives you a 20% increased damage boost after around 12 seconds in combat.

Depending on the play style of the player, the Frenzy trait can either be really useful or really hard to handle in PvP. With that said, it is much easier to use and handle this perk in PvE.

2. One for All

One for All is one of the best Legendary traits a weapon can have. What the One for All Legendary trait does is that once you hit 3 separate targets in 3 seconds, you will get increased damage for a moderate time. The specific numbers for the trait are 35% damage boost for 10 seconds. This trait works best when combined with rapid-fire weapons.

Although it can be used in PvP, the amount of power that it holds in PvE is unmeasurable. Imagine how useful the damage boost proves when defeating hordes of enemies!

1. Kill Clip

And last but not least has to be the Legendary trait Kill Clip. Being one of the original traits in Destiny 2, this trait is nothing less than legendary! The Kill Clip trait grants increased damage after you get a kill. The specific numbers for the trait are 33% precision bonus damage and 30% body bonus damage for 5 seconds.

Although it can be used in PvE, the Kill Clip trait dominates the PvP scene. Getting a kill, reloading instantly, and going back in for another kill is why it's beloved in PvP.
