Google Pixel 4A Specifications, Features, Release Date and Price In India
There is no doubt in saying that Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL were two of the most exciting and feature-packed devices launched last year. With a range of outstanding features, Google launches best-in-class mid-range under budget smartphones. It’s absolutely hard to find such amazing features and functions in Samsung or other leading brands at this effective cost. Google Pixel 3a was launched in India for $400 and its camera & performance was highly admired by the tech savvies.
And, now in 2020, people are waiting for Google Pixel 4a said to be launched this year with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor and corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front & back side. However, it will be a mid-range under budget smartphone, but it won’t be a successor of any other brands because companies like Samsung and Oneplus have made their way in the smartphone industry with the OnePlus 8 and Samsung Galaxy S20.
Though leading smartphone brands are launching featured-packed models, but Google’s experience of expensive hardware aspects and super-fast Android update along with rear camera experience & Google pixel exclusive software updates, Pixel 4a would set on the heights in the market because it brings a whole new experience.
The phone is not officially released yet, but we have put together a list of specifications & Features based on the leaks and rumors surfacing outside.

According to its benchmarks, this phone has scored almost 70% in the AnTuTu Benchmark for its outstanding performance. In its comparison to Google Pixel 3a XL, this phone is packed with some exclusive Google Pixel features including an improved UFS 2.1 flash storage in the form of 128GB SK Hynix/chip. Though it could be upgraded to 64GB eMMC storage chip similar to Pixel 3a so that it could offer snappier performance.
It also reveals what looks like a 3,080mAh battery and dual-SIM support. The former isn’t exactly big for a budget phone in 2020, but it’s still bigger than the standard Pixel-4 battery. The handset’s RAM configuration was further rumored shortly after that when XDA Developers got its hands on a picture of a supposed pre-production Pixel 4a bootloader.
Google Senior Vice President of Devices & Services Rick Osterloh Tweeted a cheeky screenshot of a Fitbit badge on May 4, 2020. That screenshot was likely taken from a Pixel 4a. Check out the status bar for the details. You’ll see the blank spot on the top-left side of the status bar where the punch hole camera will be.
The report also claims the Pixel 4’s video recording specs should carry over to the Pixel 4a. That means the new budget handset should sport 1080p video recording at 30, 60, and 120fps; 720p at 240fps; and 4K at 30fps. Leaked information also confirms the rest of the specifications & features listed above, adding that the Pixel 4a could even come with a 128GB variant, it could tout Google’s Titan M security chip, and it should support 18W fast charging, though we shouldn’t expect to see wireless charging support.
According to surfaced rumors and leaks, its starting price could be $349 for the 128GB storage option. The outlet also believes there will be a 64GB storage variant of the Pixel 4a. If so, we could see an even cheaper price tag on that one. Multiple storage versions would be a departure from Google’s mid-range phones though, as the Pixel 3a was only available in one option.
You can postpone your buying plans because there is a range of exclusive mid-range smartphones in the queue.
