1. Display

iPhone 16e  has a quite good display, Super Retina XDR OLED; it offers a max brightness of 800 nits and peak brightness of 1200 nits for readability even under direct sunlight, protected by ceramic shield glass.

2. Body

The iPhone 16e is aesthetically different from other iPhones; its front and back are covered with glass, and the aluminum frame is also dust-tight and water resistant.

3. Memory Storage

Unlike Android smartphones in this segment, the iPhone 16e offers NVMe storage rather than UFS. The benefit of having an NVMe is that it's a lot faster than UFS. One caveat is that it consumes a little more power than UFS. However, iPhones have been so good in power conservation lately that it doesn't make much difference. Also, it's worth nothing that even flagship iPhones like the iPhone 16 Pro Max also use this fast NVMe storage.

4. Operating System

iPhone 16e offers 18.3.1, upgradable to 18.4, and it comes with the latest A18 chip, which ensures fast performance, smooth graphics, and the new Apple Intelligence features.

5. Camera

A 48 MP fusion camera it has the capability of two cameras in one. The 48MP sensor allows for up to 4x the resolution of older iPhone camera, so you can capture high-quality, resolution images that balance both light and detail. Its front camera is a 12 MP TrueDepth module with an aperture of f/1.9 and autofocus, capable of shooting 4K video at 25, 30, or 60 fps and slow-motion video at 120 fps. The iPhone never lets us down when it comes to its high-quality camera.

6. Battery

Apple says iPhone 16e battery life is quite good as it can play upto 26 hours of video, 21 hours of streamed video, and 90 hours of audio, and it can charge 50% in 30 min.

7. Connectivity

It is designed for fast and reliable connection and ensures the best connection. It has a dual-band hotspot and a C-type USB.

The Pocket-Friendly iPhone

The iPhone 16e review says that it is more affordable than previous budget iPhones; its price is pocket-friendly, so you never have to think more than twice before buying.  For those who are buying an iPhone for the first time, it is a modern and affordable option. While not the cheapest on the market, it aims to balance affordability with modern features and performance.
