How To Download And Watch Amazon Prime Video Offline?

1. Install the Prime Video App

The foremost thing you need to do is to install the Prime video app.

2. Log in

Once you install the app, sign in to your Amazon account.

3. Wi-Fi 

Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network if you don’t want to download the file over your mobile data. And if you want to download by mobile data turn off the download by Wi-Fi only by tapping on a toggle. 

4. Choose the video

Now, go for the movie or video that you want to save for later. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to download all video and you can merely download content for the same only if you are in certain areas like the United States. Now, tap the download button for the same movie or video. 

5. Video quality

However, the video has by default high quality but for high definition video, you’ll be asked your desire. Again keep remembering the high quality, the larger the file size. Video quality has four options. Here, how much space 1 hour of video will occupy. For instance, the top quality video of 1 hour will take 0.46 GB whereas the lowest quality of 1 hour will take 0.12GB.  

6. Start downloading

Once you have done with all these settings, your downloading will start. Here, you’ll see a pause button on the details page to pause the download. 

7. Change the video quality

If you tap on the ‘Download Options’ the quality of the video will change. 

8. Download completed

Once the movie or TV shows are downloaded, go to the menu and tap on the download and check the video you have downloaded. Now tap on the file to go back to the detail page where you can watch the video by tapping the watch now button. From here, you also remove the file.
