CES has been taking place since 1967 and is staged by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is a trading organization that allows more than 2,000 consumer technology represent their new advancements and innovation in technology.

CES 2019 showed us a lot more than we expected and drew the major players of the Tech Industry. As Consumer Electronic show is not an event where the public can go and see the latest and advanced technology, we will be giving you an overview of the best event that has happened so far

Who will be at Consumer Electronic show 2019?


Plenty of big tech firms are going to be showing up at CES 2019 and the list of the crowd is one way of working out with new products that are likely to be shown off. On the guest list are representatives from all across the world of smart home devices. Software titans such as Adobe and Symantec are also showing up, Google will also be here to raise the stakes between competing brands. You can also accept a host of new Laptops as well as a desktop to be unveiled by Microsoft, Dell, and Lenovo.  If you want to look for your tech companies, then check out the official list of exhibitors on the CES 2019 official websites. 

CES 2019 has gradually opened but we've already seen some truly amazing technologies on the show. You can find individual categorizations further down the page, but here are the biggest CES News Updates and most interesting products we've seen so far.

LG at CES 2019


LG started off by announcing that it will be the first to present a 5G Smartphone to consumers
after we LG also unveiled its beautiful LG Signature OLED TV R. The amazing roll-able TV which can slide in and out of a box according to the users was a show stealer. Another display model we got see was the fantastic feature packed  65-inch flexible OLED display, which is expected to be available for sale this year. The LG Homebrew was quite unexpected one to be seen so far. But we will still appreciate it as the LG Homebrew beer machine is capable of brewing beer right in your home space. LG CES 2019 got a great response from the crowd when the 17-inch LG Gram 17 was shown off which LG claims will be the lightest large display notebook on the market. We also got to see two huge new 
UltraWide monitors − a 49-inch model with an eye-popping 5120 x 1440 resolution and 32:9 aspect ratio also a 38-inch version with a 3840 x 1600 resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio. Finally, we got see LG Cine Beam 4K – a laser 4K home cinema projector.

Qualcomm at CES 2019


Qualcomm is the largest chip manufacturer for Smartphones and it recently announced itself as the chief supplier for 5G technology in mobile devices this year. Also, we saw the official announcement of the Snapdragon Snapdragon 855 processor and the various handsets that will be featuring it this year. President Christiano Amon also said that the rush to get new 5G phones in the hands of buyers this year will help Qualcomm gain popularity so we can see the adoption of the technology almost everywhere by 2020. The new services will use wider sets of airwaves that are going to be more effective in communicating data traffic.


Nvidia announces RTX mobile Graphics and ray- tracing at an affordable price- Slim Gaming Laptops were also shown off in CES 2019


Finally, we saw Nvidia announcing the long-awaited RTX 2060 graphics card and MAX-Q design RTX mobile graphics for thinner form factor Laptops. According to the company, there will be more than 40 gaming laptop models with latest RTX Graphics inside launching by the end of January. In fact, just after Nvidia expressions at the event, a range of laptop manufacturers such as HP and Razer announced the latest laptops with RTX portable graphics cards. Intel’s announces new processors at CES 2019


Intel gathered quite a lot of attention by announcing its new Ice Lake laptop chips. The mobile chip range is Intel’s first “volume” 10nm PC processor for mobile devices, which should give enough battery life and minimum thermal-induced throttling. Also, we were introduced to the Ice Lake processors that happen to use Intel’s Bright Sound micro-architecture, which could be enabled for more tasks to be executed in a parallel while, packing algorithms to reduce latency. The range also ensures faster AI performance, Thunderbolt 3 integration, and Wi-Fi 6. Intel also displayed a 10nm Snow Ridge SoC for 5G base stations and 10nm Cascade Lake Xeon Processors and 10nm. As well as six new different processors that will be joining the 9th gen lineup.

Asus Announcement – ROG Zephyrus S GX 701ultra thin Laptop 


Asus has announced its new ultra-thin ROG Zephyrus S GX70 gaming laptop, which is packing the brand-new Nvidia GeForce RTX Max-Q design graphics. This new Max-Q design helps Nvidia’s high-end RTX 2080 graphics card offer great performance within a slim design. The ROG Zephyrus S GX701 is also featuring an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8750H six-core processor with a turbo clock speed of 4.1GHz and 24GB of DDR4-2666 RAM.

Huawei’s MateBook 13 could go head to head with Apple’s MacBook Air


Huawei recently announced the new MateBook 13 with 13-inch Ultra book at Consumer Electronic Show 2019. It is said to feature the 8th generation Whiskey Lake processor, 8GB of RAM, 512 GB of memory, an optional Nvidia GeForce MX 150 graphics and a beautiful touch display. Enough to beat Apple at its game if the price happens to be extremely affordable
 CES 2019 was a tech fiesta we got to see many companies show off their advancements in technology.
