All You Need to Know About Nvidia's Event at CES 2019- RTX 2060 Also Announced
Nvidia started off its show by talking about its dedication and efforts in improving Ray tracing technology. Stating true facts on how much pressure Ray tracing applies on a processor, Nvidia introduced DLSS technology which offers 6 times better quality of a Low-resolution image. Proudly announcing its partnership with long-awaited gaming title- ANTHEM, which will be supported the new DLSS technology for enhanced details in graphics.
Nvidia RTX 2060 Price and Release Date
The long-rumored RTX 2060 was also finally announced and will be seen featuring the DLSS and Ray Tracing technology. Nvidia’s RTX 2060 is going to be priced at $349 (approximately INR24000) and will be available to customers by the 15th of January. The RTX 2060 is featuring 52 Teraflops of tensor cores, 5 Giga rays of real-time ray tracing performance and 6GB of GDDR6 of VRAM. Capable enough of running Battlefield 5 on 4K at 60 FPS.
Moving on to the event, Nvidia announced 2 monitors by Asus and Acer and a huge gaming TV by HP that will be featuring the Ultimate Sync which happens to be the improved version of the V-Sync.
Later on, Nvidia again announced its partnership with RED known for producing one of the best camera gears in the world. Mentioning that RTX cards above RTX 2080 will support 8K video editing and decoding.
All new RTX notebooks with a better Design
This year we will be seeing more than 40+ portable notebooks featuring the RTX cards based on the MAX-Q design which guarantees their slimmer design. The demonstrated MSI stealth laptop with onboard RTX graphics showed that it will be offering performance 2 times greater than the PS4 Pro (currently the best gaming console)
